After hanging out with some of the local kids for a while, Mokuba arrived at the diner to help decorate for Ella’s concert. “Hi everyone,” he greeted, smiling.
"Hey, Mokuba," Radley smiled. He and the Bunch were looking over the finished, printed posters at one of the tables and planning where to put them around town.
"Yeah, we're going to put these posters all over town," Radley said. "If you wanna help with that, that'd be great. We're planning on a big turn-out tonight."
Mokuba grabbed some posters before heading outside. Using some skills Kaiba taught him about speaking with people, he began to easily convince the townspeople to come to the concert tonight and to spread the word.
Radley watches from the window as the Bunch and Mokuba get going. Scotch is also a big talker and chats it up with people too. Biff and Billy just quietly hang posters.
Mokuba hoped his brother and everyone else would figure out where he and Ella were soon. He was really missing everyone. “The kids here are really nice. I don’t usually hang out with people my own age,” he said.
Back at the inn, Ella began the process of getting ready for the concert. She was starting to feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. ‘I hope I have a large turn out,’ she thought, styling her hair.
“They’re nice and everything. But I can’t exactly tell them about the disasters we go through. They’d probably think I’m insane or making it up,” Mokuba replied.
Once she was ready, Ella looked at herself in the mirror. Her dark blue eyes stood out against the smokey eyeshadow look. Blonde hair was styled in a messy bun. She wore a light blue short off the shoulder blouse that showed her curves. Hung on her hips were jeans. Encircling her neck was a black velvet choker connected to a short gold chain. In the center of two pearls is a gold heart. Affixed to her feet were white flats.
Checking the time, she decided to practice the songs one more time before leaving.
“For example, a friend of ours was captured and tortured by a guy who we thought was long gone. And I was kidnapped by the same guy sometime later,” Mokuba explained.
"Oh, him." Radley frowned. "Yeah, I remember him from my Battle City DVD." He never had figured out the deal between him and Marik, although he had assumed it was some kind of split personality until some of the conversations the two had shared had revealed it was something much stranger.
